A little about our Model A Club
The Model A Restorers Club (M.A.R.C.) was founded in 1955, and the Illinois Region Model A Restorers Club has been around since 1955 as well. As noted on our website, we even have a couple of original members. Our membership owns several different models of Model A from 2 door sedans to fire trucks to tow trucks and most everything in between.

Our Meetings
Our meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Des Plaines Elks, and during the summer months it’s not unusual to have 4 – 6 members drive their cars to the meeting. We have one member that will drive their car most meetings throughout the year. We have around 100 members from all around the northwest suburbs, with between 40 and 60 attending meetings. Our monthly meetings cover club business and end with refreshments and a “tech talk”. Our “tech talks” cover anything from license plate collecting, Model A engine rebuilding, to general maintenance and upkeep. Our members participate in a number of activities as listed on our monthly calendar page, as well as several July 4th parades.
